Created by 2 successful Internet marketers Ty Cohen & Mike Balmaceda, the Six Figure Success Academy is an affiliate marketing training course designed to teach aspiring online entrepreneurs how to do affiliate marketing by leveraging the power of video marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a legit business model and I appreciate the effort the SISA’s owners put in to teach you how to make money in this industry.

But…

There is a catch because the owners of this program, promise to teach you how to generates multiple $250-$500 on a daily basis with your affiliate marketing business.

I know making $250 to $500 per day with affiliate marketing is possible, but they are holding important information here. Because making such amount of money daily will take you time and hard work.

But this is not new in the online spade (mainly in the MMO niche).

They make it sound good and easy to implement.

But you know, they know what most people want. Easy and push-button system to make easy money. It doesn’t exist.

So take this claim with a realistic expectation and don’t just jump in because of the $250 to $500 a day claim.

Also, be careful because there are several methods you can do affiliate marketing and each of these methods has its ups and downs. The method taught may not be the right method for you based on your marketing background.

Plus there are under-delivered products out there where the aims of the owners are to make money from you by just making it sound easy to do – not to really help you build a long-term and profitable affiliate marketing business.

How much does it cost?

The Six Figure Success Academy is a high ticket product and the amount of money you will need to get out of your pocket to have access to the training materials is $997 – A one-time fee. You also have the option to pay $547 in 2 payments.

I don’t have a problem with the cost. If you get value for the money you spend. That is OK.

My biggest problem is the training itself because the traffic source they teach is questionable and not 100% sure to work for the long run. I will address this point later in this review.

Is it all your expenses to run your business?

They say you don’t need traffic nor to build an email list. You don’t even need to create a website.

You just need to reach out to course creators and influencers, partner with them to get your offer in front of your ideal customers.

But you should know the truth. Some influencers would want you to charge you an upfront fee before you advertise to their audience they took years to build.

I don’t know exactly how much they will charge for such a service. But this is an extra expensive.

I don’t like this method of doing affiliate marketing because you are not building any assets here. Email lists and websites are assets you own. But as they know most people want easy ways to make quick bucks they don’t teach you that.

Yes, the Six Figure Success Academy offers a refund policy but there is no guarantee you will get a refund if you are not happy with the training.

How does the Six Figure Success Academy work?

The Six Figure Success Academy teaches a new method to sell other people’s products to get paid.

And here is how it works:

1. You need first to find an online course creator (your BOB) and then partner with him to help him sell his course.
In the training, they will show you where to find online course creators. Udimi is one of the popular platforms where you will find online course creators.

After you have your BOB (online courses owner) and the partnership concluded, you can move to the next step.

2. The next step consists of creating webinars using their proprietary webinar software to help BOB sell his course for a commission.

It is easy to do because with the help of the information about the course you want to promote and the webinar tool you can get your presentation video ready in a few minutes.

This is the promotional material you will be using to promote BOB’s course.

3. After your promotional materials ready, your next step consists of getting some eyeballs on your promotional materials and likely on your affiliate link.

For that, you are required to reach out to influencers. That means people who already have big followers or fans. It can be bloggers (like me) who already established their brand and have good followers, email marketers who have a huge email list, or social media influencers.

Again, here Ty Cohen & Mike Balmaceda will show you where to find these influencers and how to negotiate a partnership with them to get them to help you spread the word. But there is no guarantee they will accept.

If they accept to partner with you they will share your promotional material with their audience and if someone buys BOB’s course, both including BOB the course’s owner makes money.

You can see from here that you are just a middle man between the course creator and the influencer.

That means you can be kicked out by the course creator or by the influencer at any time.

So…

Is what the Six Figure Success Academy taught a proven method to do affiliate marketing?

What the Six Figure Success Academy teaches is a legit business model and I appreciate that. But the method taught in this course is not a viable method to do affiliate marketing. This is my own opinion.

Think twice.

First off, the one that creates the course called BOB can create a webinar himself. Right?

He can also reach out to Influencers himself. Right?

What will happens if he decides to kick you out and partner with the influencer himself?

Secondly, the influencer before he accepts your partnership will surely do research about the training course (the product) and also about your famous BOB himself (if really he or she care about his audience) to be sure it is a good program.

Ty Cohen & Mike Balmaceda did the best by teaching you to choose high-rated courses to promote.

But the point is not there.

The influencer can himself partner with the course creator instead of partnering with you the middle man.

Right?

This is the reason I don’t recommend this product to my audience.

I admit they did a great job but I don’t think this method is a viable method that worth the price tag.

I will be OK with the Six Figure Success Academy owners if they teach you how to become an influencer yourself.

But hey, these guys know what most people want. Easy and fast methods to make quick bucks. Push on buttons and get rich quick schemes.
This is the reason most people move from course to course losing thousands of dollars along the way.

Truth is, there is no push button to make money online – even offline. You need to put the work in.

Is the Six Figure Success Academy a scam?

The straightforward answer is a Big No. The Six Figure Success Academy is not a scam.

It is a legitimate affiliate marketing training course designed to teach you a legit and rewarding online business model. Plus the guys behind this training are real and legitimate internet marketers that have experience in this field.

Only I found this training overpriced when I know the $997 is not all you need to run your affiliate marketing business.

In fact, you will need to pay influencers to get eyeballs on your offer. No eyeballs on your affiliate links, there is no money to make.

And this is where it becomes very costly because this is an ongoing expenses along the way.

The bottom line, the Six Figure Success Academy is not a scam. It is a legit course that teaches you how to do affiliate marketing with video marketing.

In short, it is not a scam.

But in my humble opinion, this is not the way to go if you really want to build a long-term and profitable affiliate marketing business.

I think your goal is to build a long-lasting side online business, to be independent, and also to scale it. Not to do the same thing over and over again for the same results.

Does this training worth your money?

It all depends on your goal.

If video marketing like using webinars is the way you want to do affiliate marketing, and you have a lot of money to invest in traffic generation, it worth it. Because video marketing is a great way to build trust and then increase conversion rate and boost affiliate revenue.

I myself do video marketing on YouTube. But to be honest, it is not easy as they make it sound. You will need to work hard and spend a lot of money on tools and traffic to make it work.
This is my unbiased opinion.

But if I will be biased, the course is expensive for what you get.

You can find good training out there for 10x cheaper than this one to start and grow your affiliate marketing without even expending a dime in paid ads.

But most gurus make it sound easy and also the fastest way to make money online.

However, like any business, you need to work it, in order to make it work.

They claim the course owners have done the 99% of the hard work and it seems you just need to do the 1% work to make money.

I admit with affiliate marketing you don’t need to create your own product, to deal with support, shipping, etc.

But you need to get the offer in front of the right audience in order to expect sales and commission. This is where this training fails because the traffic method they teach is very questionable.

So if you want to really build a profitable, scalable, and long-term affiliate marketing training continue your search because I won’t lie to you this method is not genuine in my opinion.

I have been in this industry for years now. And if you want a proven way to make passive and consistent income with affiliate marketing your main goal must be to drive organic traffic to your affiliate link or sale page. And this is can be achieved with a blog or a website through search engine optimization (SEO).

Organic traffic is a free traffic and it means getting people who are interested in your offer via search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo.

And this is what exactly this platform teaches you. How to create your own affiliate marketing website, rank it on the search engines, drive quality traffic and then convert this traffic into leads and buyers.
