How does the Email Startup Incubator program work?

Email Startup Incubator review - explained
credit: Lurn.com

The Email Startup Incubator program is also known as Inbox Blueprint is an email marketing training course where the teacher shows you how to leverage it to make money online

And the process of making money with it according to the blueprint works in 5 simple steps:

  • Traffic generation: This is where you identify your targeted audience and then leverage paid or organic traffic methods to reach out to them to drive them to your funnels
  • Build a page website: This is where you build your pre-sell page that is a landing page or opt-in page. It serves to turn your visitors into subscribers.
  • Build a thank you page: it reality it is not a thank you page but a bridge page where you can still pre-sell your affiliate offer to your subscribers and then push them to the next step of the funnel (check out your affiliate link or sales page)
  • Set up your autoresponder: It serves to automate your emails when someone joins your mailing list for the first time.
  • Email campaign and broadcast: This is where you will be nurturing your leads, building the “know-like-trust” factor, and then try to convert your subscribers into sales.

How much does it cost?

The Email Startup Incubator course costs a $997 one-time fee. This seems to be a bit expensive mainly for those who are just starting out and on a budget.

But they also offer an installment payment option that is $397 per month for 3 months. That means you will be paying $1,191 instead of $997 if you go with the installment payment option.

I think the one-time payment method is a way to save more money. So go with this option if you can afford this cost and if you are sure this course is a real deal for you.

But before you jump in take your time to read this Email Startup Incubator review to find out if it is worth it or not.

Another thing I want you to know in this review is that your $997 payment is not all your expenses for running your email marketing business.

You need other resources and when it comes to email marketing, traffic generation is a key for success.

The course teaches free traffic sources but unfortunately, it doesn’t dive deep into it.

If you are good at generating traffic for free, there is no cost involved for traffic generation. If not you will need to put aside an advertising budget that can go up to hundreds of dollars each month. If you stop sending traffic to your funnels, you stop gaining new customers. So your odds of growing your business are almost zero.

Other expenses involve are tools to run your business such as:

  • domain name and hosting – price varies from $67 to $100 depending on the company you choose. See how much does it cost here.
  • an email marketing tool (the recommended tool is Sendlane ($99 per month for 5000 email contact),

What do you get for your money?

Your $997 one time fee gives you access to:

  • Lurn training platform where the course was hosted,
  • Their forums to connect with other like-minded people,
  • The Launchpad software, and more.

Can you get your money back if you are not happy with your purchase?

No, for a refund, Anik Singal is clear about it. You cannot get a refund for your purchase. All the Lurn Inc course doesn’t come with a refund policy. So make sure you are sure this is what you want before making a commitment.

An inside look at the Inbox Blueprint course – what you will learn

Here is the Email Startup Incubator course outline:

Module 1: Addiction Meter – In this module, you will learn how to pick a niche.

Module 2: The Bait – This module is about landing page building and also creating your lead magnet.

Module 3: TYP Method – This module is about creating your bridge page that you can use to encourage your subscribers to check out your offer or sales page.

Module 4: Email machine – In this module Anik will teach you how to leverage email marketing to make money selling other people’s products or your own product. It is about setting your autoresponder so that when people opt-in to your list they can get your first email automatically, set up emails campaigns, and newsletters to broadcast to your list, and much more.

As I said earlier the recommended email marketing tool is Sendlane, an email marketing he co-founded with Jimmy Kim and Zack Meftah. Sendlane costs $99 per month for 5000 email contacts at the time of this writing. But you are free to use other email marketing tools out there like Aweber, Getresponse, Systeme.io, Mailchimp, etc.

A side note: If you want to use the Launchpad software, using another email marketing service other than Sendlane will be difficult.

Module 5: Emails & List Relationship – In this module, you will learn how to nurture your leads, build a trust relationship by providing value. This is the most important part of the course because if you fail to build this “know-like-trust” factor with your subscribers, your odds of making sales and revenue are zero. People buy from people they like know and trust.

Module 6: Payday Secrets – In this module, you will be learning how to make money with affiliate marketing. This is a business model where you promote other people’s products for a commission.

Module 7: Easy Traffic – This module is about traffic generation and also the most important part of the course because without people checking out your funnel, there are no sales to make. So no money.

And when it comes to traffic generation, you have 2 ways: free or organic traffic and paid traffic.

Free traffic as its name suggests is free. And the best part it converts better compared to paid traffic because you attract the prospect into your funnels. That means you get paid who already are actively looking for the product or service you are selling or promoting.

Organic traffic on the other hand requires money. With this method, you take the initiative to reach out to your audience. It is a quick and fast way to get visitors on your funnels but if you don’t have a good marketing strategy, you will be losing your money without any good return on investment.

Module 8: Unlimited Success – This is a module where you will be learning how to track and measure your campaigns (open rate, clicks, conversion,…) and make adjustments if needed.

Who is the email Startup Incubator course for?

Let’s be honest! The Email Startup Incubator is a great email marketing course. The owner is also a digital marketing expert that made over $200 million online with email marketing millions of dollars online within the last 15 years. That is enough to sing out.

He even says you can make $5000 in your first 2 months.

But let’s face the truth.

Anik use paid ads to run his business and that costs a lot of money down the road. And this is what Anik teaches you as well. There are free traffic sources he teaches but as I said earlier he didn’t go deep into it.

While I believe Email marketing is a great way to promote products online, I also believe that if you fail to generate targeted traffic to your funnels is the most important part of your business. And your business success doesn’t stay there!

You have to turn your visitors into leads and then your leads into buyers in order to make money with your email marketing business. And trust me, converting your leads or subscribers into buyers is a whole story the gurus won’t tell you.

In fact, you need to build trust with your subscribers first. To prove to them that you are an expert in your field. In other words, you have to give them a reason to buy from you. That means providing value (no one in your industry can offer) to them.

And it won’t happen overnight. It takes time and hard work to develop such skills and trust me any training cannot make you an overnight expert – not in 60 days as claimed. Expertise is built by practicing.

In my opinion, this course is for experienced affiliate marketers and not for beginners – mainly those on a budget.

It is for people who have an established online business and looking to scale their business with email marketing.

If you are a beginner or just starting out, I suggest you build your traffic generation system and master your marketing and copywriting skills first.

For instance, blogging can be a good way for you to develop such skills and establish a non-stop traffic generation system.

Inbox Blueprint review – the pros and cons

In this section of my Email Startup Incubator review, I want to show you what I like and what I don’t like in this program.

Inbox Blueprint Pro

✔ In-depth marketing training course taught by an expert in the industry

✔ You get all the tools you need to run your business under one roof – extra costs involved,

✔ Affiliate marketing is a great business model and this is the monetization method taught in this training – but the promotional method is not beginner-friendly.

Inbox Blueprint Cons

❌ No refund policy,

❌ $997 upfront investment can be daunting for some – mainly for beginners starting out

❌ Training requires a lot of money to run your business – ads budget + marketing tools,

❌ $5000 in 60 days is a bold claim,

❌ Not a beginner-friendly business model,

Is the Email Startup Incubator program different than the Inbox Blueprint program?

No, the Email Startup Incubator program is not different than the Inbox Blueprint program. The Email Startup Incubator is the new version of the Inbox Blueprint program. The new update came up with resources students can access to run their businesses in one place.

What do you need to make money with email marketing?

In order to make money with email marketing, you need something to sell. Email marketing allows you to promote other people’s products or services and get paid a commission each time someone buys the product/service from your unique link. And this is what Anik teaches on the backend.
But in order to make money from your business, you need to set up a marketing funnel and drive targeted traffic to your marketing funnels. you will learn how to set up your marketing funnels from scratch with the training but when it comes to traffic don’t expect much – mainly free or organic traffic.

Can I make money with the email startup incubator program?

Yes, you can definitely make money with this program. What they teach is a tested and trusted marketing method and we all rely on this method to make money online as well. But keep in mind you need traffic and not random traffic. Targeted traffic. So if you know how to drive targeted to your funnels, then you can make money from this program. If you also have marketing skills and a lot of money to invest in paid ads, you can definitely make money from it.
Learn how to establish your own brand here and generate traffic for free – non-stop.

Is Email Startup Incubator a scam?

No, the Email Startup Incubator is definitely not a scam. This is a legit email marketing training course designed by a well-known expert in the industry to help you master the art of selling through email marketing.

How much do I have to invest on top of the $997 one-time fee?

The cost to run your business depends on you. As I said earlier, with the Email Startup Incubator you get access to their launchpad software. If you will use their in-built software you are required to subscribe to Sendlane monthly or yearly membership (basic plan cost start at $99 per month for 5000 email contacts). You can check, maybe it is possible to get it as low as for less than 5000 email contacts.
If you don’t want to use their own built-in tools to run your business, then you can use any automation and marketing tool you wish. There are countless tools out there. For example, an all-in-one marketing tool like Systeme.io come with a free lifetime plan that allows you to:
– create landing pages and sales funnels,
– build up to 2000 contacts,
– connect your own domain name,
– create your own membership site to sell online courses and much more for absolutely free.
You have other options such as Aweber, Getresponse, Namecheap – just to name a few.
You can read my Systeme.io review to learn more.

What is the best alternative to the Inbox Blueprint or Email Startup Incubator program?

If you are looking to make money online with affiliate marketing and you are looking for a beginner-friendly way to get started, I suggest you go with blogging first. Not only it is an efficient and budget-friendly way to start, but it also allows you to develop skills such as writing, copywriting, marketing, etc.
You can later scale with email marketing and PPC campaigns. Not to say you can do email marketing while blogging.
To get started, click on this link.
Another alternative if you are on a budget and want to learn email marketing is to go with Secret Email System by Matt Barak training. You can read my Secret Email System review for more information.

Inbox Blueprint review – Final thoughts

The Inbox Blueprint course updated to Email Startup Incubator is a great email marketing training course that teaches you how to make money with affiliate marketing. Anik Singal teaches you from start to finish how to build your email list and then make money from your list by promoting other people’s products.

To be honest you get value for your money. The only downside is that it doesn’t go deep on how to generate free traffic. That means you will need to invest in paid ads if you don’t know how to generate free traffic.

I recommend you check it out if you are looking to scale your online business with email marketing.

If you are just starting out and on a budget, I recommend you start building an audience first with blogging. It doesn’t require a lot of money to get started and the best part is you can generate free traffic from search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

Not only the traffic is free, but it converts better than paid traffic because the strategy you apply allows you to attract people who likely have an interest in what you offer compared to paid traffic where it is you who try to reach out to your audience.

That being said, I hope you found my Email Startup Incubator review helpful.
