Spark By Clickbank is a new version of the Original ClickBank University course that has been launched in 2014.

From ClickBank University to ClickBank University 2.0, the course has been revamped to Spark by Clickbank.

Clickbank University originally taught aspiring online entrepreneurs how to create their own digital products and sell them in the Clickbank marketplace, getting an army of affiliates to spread the word.

That is a win-win situation for both the product creators and the affiliates.

It also teaches the students how they can promote Clickbank products and then make money online.

But what about the Spark by Clickbank?

Is the course different than the original course and the last version which is Clickbank University 2.0?

In this module, you will get basic information about internet Marketing, terminology, and common terms used in the online marketing industry.

If you are just starting out, this module will help you have a better understanding of Internet marketing.

Course 3: How ClickBank Fits In

This module is an introduction to the Clickbank platform where you will be learning how the platform works and how you can use it as an affiliate or vendor to make money.

This is the best part of the Spark By Clickbank course because the course shows you what exactly to look for when creating or looking for a product to promote.

Here you will learn different types of content you can create to help you build your audience.

Course 10: The Tools Of Digital Marketing

This course shows you different online marketing tools you can use to create and run your affiliate marketing business.

Course 11: Outsourcing

Outsourcing content is great when you are making money with your business and want to scale it to a higher level.

But if you are starting out and don’t have time to create content, you can outsource it.

Here in this course contains 1 video for 4 minutes, they will show you where and how to outsource content to grow or scale your business.

Though this video is beneficial for people who are looking to be vendors on ClickBank.

Course 12: Memberships & Subscriptions

This training is about how to create your own membership site, and then make money from it.

Course 13: Affiliate QuickStart – Part 1

Another basic course – you will learn here in this module how to choose a niche and pick a product to promote.

Note that all is about Clickbank. If you are new to affiliate marketing, you will find it helpful.

Since the whole course is based on Clickbank alone, this is good for people who want to rely on Clickbank alone to build their affiliate marketing business.

Course 14: Affiliate QuickStart – Part 2

Affiliate Quickstart Part 2 is about promoting your offer.

Here you will learn:

how to create a landing page or a simple opt-in page to collect your visitors’ emails,
how to set up an autoresponder,
how to drive free traffic to your offer, ect.

Course 15: Creating Your First Ad

This module is about driving traffic to your offer or landing page using paid ads.

Here you will learn how to create and set up your first Facebook paid ads.

Personally, I am not a fan of paid ads because not only does it cost a huge budget, but also you are required to repeat the same process over and over again to make a commission.

And the heck, outbound marketing conversion is low compared to inbound marketing where you provide value to the prospect first.

Course 16: Digital Product QuickStart Part 1

This course is designed for course creators or people who want to create and sell their own products on the CB marketplace.

Here in this module, you will:

Get an overview of the Clickbank marketplace,
Learn how to pick a product idea and outline it, and then
learn how to create your product and then price it.

This module is about:

Creating a sales page and thank you page,

They offer a 7-day free trial and you need a credit card to be able to create your account.

After your trial period expires, you will be charged $47 per month.

But this is not all your expense if you decide to go with this training course.

Spark By Clickbank extra cost

First off, there are upsells.

At the time I was creating my account, Spark had 2 upsells:

The first one is Max Finn’s Facebook Ads Mastery Course which costs a $197 one-time fee.

Most of the traffic method they teach is paid ads. When this upsell popped up, knowing they emphasize paid ads I was wondering what they really teach in the core training.

I am not new to this sales tactic anymore.

They hold the most valuable information for the upsell. You will learn Facebook ads, but the information you get in the core training is basic. You will need to buy another Facebook ads course or buy the upsell to get advanced information on paid advertising.

Another upsell I skipped is their 3-month bundle offer. They say they offer a 7 days-trial but you will get nothing valuable to try. When you are creating your free account, they try to charge you immediately 3 3-month payment of $67. So be careful!

Another upsell is their page builder and marketing tool called Convertri. This software costs $89 per month. Adding that ongoing expenses to your Spark membership, you will see that you need at least $139 per month.

And that is not all your expense either…

You can decide to not use Convertri (their software) and use cheaper alternative software like Systeme.io or Groopages.

As I said earlier, the course emphasizes on paid ads. And you will need a huge advertising budget. No visitors, no leads, no sales. It is simple like that.

Also, this course is for those who want to create and sell their own products on the Clickbank Marketplace and get an army of affiliates to spread the word for them. This is my own opinion as I see it.

If you are looking to learn how to make money with affiliate marketing, there are better opinions to choose from.

Clickbank is not the one affiliate network out there where you can get products to promote and then make money.

Yes, it is the biggest and most popular digital marketplace. But not the only one.

So I would prefer an online course that teaches me how to be a successful and independent affiliate marketer instead of being bound to CB alone.

The Cons

Bold and hyped claim,

Creating your own product is easy but making it successful is not. You need a solid background in the industry before you gain your targeted audience’s trust,

$47 per month subscription and too much upsell not so in return – mainly for affiliates,

Emphasis on paid ads as traffic generation. This is the quickest way to make your first paycheck. But it requires a huge advertising budget.

Not an in-depth training course,

Clickbank is full of poor quality products – not a viable source if you want to build a long-term and profitable online business,

SEO is a must-have skill if you want to build a trusted and recognized brand – they don’t teach you that.

Does the Spark By Clickbank course deliver its promise?

For me, I think this training doesn’t deliver their promise.

Here are the reasons:

When you take a look at the home page, I just see a random 3 testimonials that don’t convince me.

The one is from a student who made $119 (the highest sale) in the first week.

We don’t know how much that person spends on ads to make such an amount of money.

Given that, I think if really the Spark course is efficient, we must see more testimonials that inspire trust than that.

Seems they just changed the name of the training that originally was Clickbank University to Spark By Clickbank to just hide something.

My close look at the course allows me to conclude that people who are looking to create and sell their own products ok CB to make money will benefit the most from it.

If you are looking to make money selling other people’s products (do affiliate marketing), this is not the training to go for.

The reason is that:

The training just shows you how to promote Clickbank products instead of teaching you how to be an independent and successful affiliate marketer.

They teach you paid advertising and don’t cover subjects like SEO which is a valuable skill to develop these days.
